Privacy policy

What we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

In short: we collect what we need to run your orders, share it only with the shop, rider and payment and messaging providers involved, and never sell it.

What we collect

  • Account: your mobile number, and your name, email and profile photo if you add them.
  • Orders: what you order, from which shop, delivery address and landmark, notes, and the area you choose in the app.
  • Payments: the payment status and reference from Razorpay. Card numbers, UPI PINs and bank passwords go to Razorpay, never to us.
  • Shops and riders: business and contact details, shop photos, product details, and bank or UPI details for payouts.
  • Technical: basic logs such as time, IP address and errors, to keep the service secure and working.

We do not track your live GPS location. The app uses the area you choose to find shops near you.

How we use it

  • To show nearby shops and offers, take and deliver your orders, and handle refunds.
  • To send sign-in codes by SMS and order updates on WhatsApp.
  • To pay shops and delivery partners, keep accounts, and meet tax and legal duties.
  • To prevent fraud and misuse.

Who we share it with

  • The shop you order from: your name, phone number, address and order, so they can prepare and deliver it.
  • The delivery partner (for partner deliveries): your name, phone number and delivery address.
  • Service providers: Razorpay (payments and payouts), 2Factor (SMS codes), Meta (WhatsApp messages) and our cloud hosting provider (Amazon Web Services, Mumbai region).
  • Authorities, when the law requires it.

We never sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep your account while you use Mintadeal. Order and payment records are kept for at least 8 years because tax law requires it. Other data is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.

Keeping it safe

All traffic uses HTTPS. Payment provider keys are stored encrypted, and access to our systems is limited to people who need it. Backups are stored on encrypted disks.

Your choices and rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent. Contact us using the details on the Contact page. Deleting your account does not remove records we must keep by law.

Cookies and this website

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It loads its font from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when you visit. The apps store your sign-in on your own device so you stay signed in.

Mintadeal is for people aged 18 and over.
